Light the Way Annual Campaign

The Light the Way Annual Campaign raises the funds that make it possible to maintain our beautiful ranch and run the unique programs that help our campers overcome the obstacles they face in life. We’d like to invite you to become a part of the Candlelight Ranch family and make a donation at one of the giving levels below.

GIVING LEVELS

$5,000 – Zip Line Shades: Zip lines are an incredible experience for a kid, but sun and summer heat can be less than healthy. This spring we will be installing 6 custom shades to protect our campers, volunteers and staff. This level of funding includes a custom sign acknowledging the donor or someone they wish to honor.

$2,500 – Send 25 Children to Camp: We are able to keep group fees extremely affordable by raising money to underwrite our true costs. Send 25 children to experience Candlelight Ranch - Even one day at camp exposes them to a wondrous natural environment and positive activities that help them learn, grow and overcome the obstacles they face in life.

$1,000 – Onsite Master Naturalist: Provides a full summer month of nature hikes, gardening lessons, archaeology and natural history lessons from a Master Naturalist. The campers’ favorite activity last summer was harvesting and preparing their own prickly pear lemonade.

$500 – Equine Programs: Allows us to care for and feed our two “resident” equine friends Rusty and Pepper for 2 months. Our campers work with the horses in many activities that help build self-esteem, trust and teamwork skills.

$250 – Reese’s Treehouse: Underwrites an overnight stay for 2 campers in one of the largest wheelchair accessible treehouses in the country. The best time at the Ranch for the kids is from dawn until dusk.
