Candlelight Ranch is a 100+ acre nature paradise, founded by the Barr Family of Austin, Texas, to serve as the setting for an outdoor camp experience for children with special needs. Candlelight Ranch was created as a way to bring healing, balance, and peace of mind to children whose full expression is limited by physical, emotional, behavioral, health or financial restraints.
Candlelight Ranch is located on the scenic North Shore of Lake Travis in the Texas Hill Country. In addition to acres of rolling hills and easy lake access, the property offers thickly wooded canyons carved by spring-fed creeks and waterfalls, imbuing visitors with a sense of peace and tranquility.
Candlelight Ranch's main facilities are wheelchair accessible. Our facilities can accommodate a small group of 6 to larger groups of 50. Our core facilities include the Travis Hamner Pavilion, Reese's Treehouse, the Fisher House and a bathhouse. In addition, Candlelight Ranch offers two teepees, the Challenge Course, an Equine Facility and direct access to Lake Travis. For current rental rates, please check our fees.
