Gerald R. Nelson Memorial Fund

On the morning of April 20th, Candlelight Ranch lost a dear friend, Gerald R.  Nelson. Gerry became a devoted ambassador for Candlelight Ranch after participating in a service project at the Ranch with a team of fellow employees from Dell Financial Services in the summer of 2009.

The following year he joined the Board of Directors and was subsequently elected Vice President and served as Chair of the Development Committee.  His incredible energy and ever-present smile will be sorely missed.

At the request of his family, a Memorial Fund has been created in his honor, so that friends might support this mission that was so close to his rather large and wonderful heart.  If there truly are angels, then Gerry is now enjoying their presence and fitting right in.
