Whitney joined the Candlelight Ranch Board of Directors in 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience in disability inclusion, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as Disability & Inclusion Manager at Shalom Austin, where she leads initiatives that help create more accessible, welcoming, and inclusive experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Whitney has dedicated her career to helping build communities where people of all abilities can participate, contribute, and thrive. Through her work, she has developed innovative programs, provided training and support to organizations across Central Texas, and championed opportunities that promote belonging and meaningful inclusion.
Whitney’s connection to Candlelight Ranch began in 2016 when she attended a Family Day with her oldest daughter, Ceili. The experience left a lasting impression, and within weeks she began volunteering with the Ranch. Over the years, she has supported programs, worked on the zip line team, participated in fundraising and community events, and witnessed firsthand the impact the Ranch has on children and families. Her long-standing involvement reflects a deep belief in the power of nature, adventure, and inclusive experiences to build confidence, connection, and resilience.
Whitney is a proud wife to Mike and mother of three daughters. She is honored to serve on the Board and help advance Candlelight Ranch’s mission of providing life-changing outdoor experiences for children and families of all abilities.
