Purchase a Tree Through the Giving Tree Program

A pilar of Candlelight Ranch’s mission is environmental conservation and stewardship. We believe that to teach those who visit the ranch about the importance of preserving wild spaces we must first be a living example of how to be stewards of our environment. As part of the Colorado River Land Trust, we have promised to care for and preserve our land and its integrity in perpetuity.  Annually, we follow a Wildlife Management Plan that serves as a guide for our conservation and land care efforts. An essential component of our plan is planting native trees each year.

Help Candlelight Ranch implement our Wildlife Management Plan by purchasing a tree that will be forever cultivated on our 41-acre Lake Travis property. Each $500 donation includes a Texas native or adapted tree and a customized plaque to accompany. Plaques could be in memory of, in remembrance, in honor, or in celebration of an individual, a group or a loved one. Trees will be limited to five donations per year and are irrigated on a well-established watering system and lovingly cared for by hand.

Your donation ensures the protection of our wild space in the ever growing and developing North Shore of Lake Travis, and aids in the deliverance of our mission to teach children and families about the wonder and importance of nature.
