We’re excited to share an important update with our community. Please join us in welcoming Joel Peal as the new Executive Director of Candlelight Ranch.

Joel brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong track record of building teams, strengthening programs, and expanding community impact. His work has consistently centered on creating environments where people feel supported, valued, and able to grow.

What drew Joel to Candlelight Ranch is what draws so many to this mission, the belief that time spent in nature, in a place of encouragement and connection, can be life-changing. From children with disabilities to youth in foster care and military families, the Ranch continues to create meaningful, lasting impact. “I’m honored to step into this role and be part of a community that is making such a meaningful difference. As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: expanding access to our programs, deepening community partnerships, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Candlelight Ranch so we can serve even more families.
