Volunteer Spotlight: Tom Foster

Volunteers make the world a better place, and our volunteer Tom Foster certainly makes Candlelight Ranch a better place. Tom is an exceptionally dedicated volunteer who has been with Candlelight Ranch for over fifteen years. As a cacti expert, Tom is responsible for the donation and installation of our beautiful Cactus Garden that sits at the heart of our property, and has recently revitalized its beds into a pollinator garden after the winter storm damaged many of the over decade old cacti. Tom also gives his time by volunteering as a zipline facilitator, sending or catching children and by serving on our ranch committee.  In addition, Tom is responsible for forging the connection between Candlelight Ranch and Expeditors Austin, who donate Christmas gifts each year so that all children who attend our Holiday Parties may return home with a brand new toy! Everyone at Candlelight Ranch sends their gratitude to Tom for all he has donated over the years and for the joy and countless smiles he has brought to the children and families of the Ranch. Thank you, Tom Foster, for all that you do for Candlelight Ranch and the selfless giving of your time, talents, and treasure.
