A Legacy of Service: Celebrating Charles Schwab’s Support

Strong partnerships fuel our impact at Candlelight Ranch, and we’re especially grateful for the ongoing support and commitment of Charles Schwab and its passionate employees.
From board leadership and event sponsorships to volunteer days filled with elbow grease and BBQ smoke, Charles Schwab has shown up for Candlelight Ranch, year after year. Their commitment to our mission goes far beyond funding — it’s a relationship built on shared values, heartfelt service, and a deep belief in giving back to our community.
Each spring, Schwab employees join us for their annual Volunteer Week, tackling ranch maintenance projects that keep our 40-acre property beautiful, safe, and ready to welcome children of all abilities. From clearing cedar and beautifying our gardens to prepping program spaces, they roll up their sleeves with heart and humility.
They also bring the heat — literally — during our Chili Cook-Off and Car Show, where their legendary BBQ Pit Crew smokes brisket and serves up delicious meals for guests. Schwab teams also compete in the chili cook-off and contribute to the energy, fun, and success of this annual fundraiser through sponsorship.
We’re honored to be part of the Charles Schwab Nonprofit Expo each year, where we connect with passionate employees looking to give back through time, talent, and service. It’s just one of many ways Schwab fosters a culture of civic engagement, empowering employees to support the causes that matter most to them. Through this and other initiatives like Season of Giving, Schwab creates meaningful opportunities for employees to make a lasting difference in their communities.
We’re especially grateful for the Schwab employees who serve on our Board of Directors, and for the incredible teams who help feed and connect with families during our Military Families in Nature program — cooking lunch and sharing smiles with those who have sacrificed so much.
