Candlelight Ranch is proud to feature an interactive water experience presented by the Moody Foundation, fondly known as ChillVille. Chillville is a replica of the naturally occurring creeks on the property. Wheelchair accessible and fueled by a clever rainwater collection tank, ChillVille has a gently sloping boardwalk, waterfall and shallow ponds. It also includes two hand-pumped water sluices and camper-activated buckets of water to splash the surprised visitor nearby.
While providing a place to cool off and enjoy the refreshing experience of a Texas creek, participants learn about water collection and conservation and the physics of a gravity pump system.
