Aaron has 30 years of financial services leadership, serving in executive roles for banks and credit unions leading retail operations and wealth management operations.

Aaron’s approach to serving the community is one of providing a “hand up” rather than a “hand out” with a focus on children, young adults and the underserved. Over the last twenty years he has served as a big brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, served as a regular volunteer with several school “Watch DOG” programs, Habitat for Humanity builds and has been actively involved in youth cycling programs. Aaron also volunteers with Foundation Communities providing tutoring services to children in grades K through 5.  He considers himself blessed to have been offered the opportunity to serve Candlelight Ranch where his passion for serving children and young adults intersect with the wonders of nature.

Aaron grew up Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and has lived in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Dallas before settling in Austin in 2010. Aaron, his wife Cheryl, and their two children can be found most weekends hiking in the woods, enjoying the lake, or hanging out at CLR where their youngest child is learning to “give back.”

Aaron served four years on the Candlelight Ranch Board of Directors, including one year as Board President, now serving as a dedicated Adviser on our Governance committee.
