Due West began volunteering at Candlelight Ranch in 2021 while also serving on the Ranch Committee. He joined the board in 2023. Due is the Chief Sales Office for Dynamic Computing Services and brings 25+ years of management and business development experience to his board position.

Due has a passion for helping others and giving back to his community. While growing up in Texas, Due watched his grandparents spend a lifetime loving and caring for their daughter (his aunt) who had significant special needs. He also helped family members and friends struggling with broken homes and drug addiction. Through these personal experiences, Due learned the critical importance of programs such as Candlelight Ranch to support youth and their families during difficult times.

After graduating with a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Due and his wife Melinda first took jobs in Dallas, but moved back to the Austin area in 1999 where they started their family. Due has been an active volunteer in the community working with youth and families for almost 20 years. As an outdoor enthusiast, he was particularly drawn to Candlelight Ranch’s nature-based approach to serving, educating, and healing.
