Welcome Stacie Bryan, Executive Director

April 1, 2024

With great excitement, we warmly welcome Stacie Bryan as CLR’s incoming Executive Director. She brings with her deep ties to Central Texas and 10+ years of executive-level nonprofit experience. Raised in Round Rock, Texas, Stacie has spent her career serving the community and improving the lives of Central Texans.

  • Stacie served as the Executive Director for the Ambassadors for Community Health at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin for the past six years;
  • Her professional and civic experiences are anchored in service to the community:  she serves on the Round Rock Woman’s Club, has served on the City of Round Rock Planning & Zoning Commission as well as Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, and is a past President of Round Rock Area Serving Center;
  • Stacie and her husband, Rex, are long-time supporters of Candlelight Ranch, having attended and participated in events over the years. In fact, Stacie, Rex, and their friends have been a part of the Chili Cook-off & Car Show event, entering as the Round Rock Yacht Club, and delighting tastebuds with the award-winning chili and playful spirits.

We are overjoyed to welcome Stacie to our team as a capable, experienced leader. She will propel CLR to deliver on its Vision 2030, and thus further improve our community! READ STACIE’S BIO HERE

It is with deep gratitude that we bid Jenn Hartner farewell as our Executive Director. Jenn’s work with Candlelight Ranch started over a decade ago, with the past seven plus years as the organization’s Executive Director. During that tenure:

  • CLR welcomed over 10,000 Central Texas children & their families to nature’s healing embrace;
  • A strong team of dedicated permanent staff, growing from 3 to 8 full-time employees, was assimilated, thus further enhancing CLR’s capabilities and quality of services;
  • Exemplary governance and fiscal responsibility further strengthened CLR’s solid financial foundation, which now includes a 12-month operations reserve.

All these accomplishments ensured that any child needing safe, accessible outdoor experience has a welcoming and secure place to learn, explore, and heal through the beauty of nature for generations to come. Jenn: On behalf of the communities which greatly benefit from CLR’s Mission, a very heartfelt thank you for the difference you made in our lives.
