7th Annual Chili Cook-Off & Car Show

On March 3rd, the smell of chili, the sight of colorful classic cars, and the sound of Texas Country music filled Candlelight Ranch for our 7th annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show. We were lucky to have beautiful spring weather for our sold-out event. Live music from local singer & songwriter John Arthur Martinez, delicious chili tastings from over 17 unique chili teams (5 of which were new to the cook-off this year), a variety of classic cars & motorcycles, and a ride on the ziplines for the kids ensured fun for the whole family! We are beyond thankful to our event volunteers who ensured a smooth run of the show and to the sponsors, partners, and local businesses who made this event possible. A full day of fun was followed by a Toast and Tour of our new building, “The Hideaway,” to thank our donors who made this new build possible. Our Chili Cook-off and Car Show continues to be an essential event that engages new and established partnerships to connect with our mission of bringing children in need to nature so that they may learn, explore, and heal! Thank you to all who participated and donated to make our annual Chili Cook-Off and Car Show a success!
