Austin Subaru has been a steady, generous force behind the courage we see on our high ropes course and the connections that blossom during our  Military Families in Nature program. Because of their presenting sponsorship of our ropes course and their support for our military families, more children and parents get to learn in nature, try brave new things, and go home a little taller inside.

On the ropes course, the transformation is immediate and lasting. Campers tell us they feel more confident in themselves, are proud that they tried something new, and had fun doing it. We hear the impact of the ropes course in our camper’s own words: “I was able to work together with my team and try new things I never thought I would do.” Another shared: “During the power pole, I failed the first time, but after changing things up, getting more used to it, and believing in myself, I succeeded the second time and conquered a challenge.” Experiences of growth extend beyond the individual, empowering campers to experience the joy of putting others first, “ziplining gave me the opportunity to help others.” These moments don’t happen by accident; they’re made possible by partners like Austin Subaru, who invest in experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and leadership.

Their support also powers our Military Families in Nature program, which welcomes active-duty, veteran, and Gold Star families for a restorative, no-cost day together outdoors. Families participate in guided hikes, team-building activities, low and high ropes courses, zip lines, and equine-assisted learning, all designed to strengthen communication, reduce stress, and help families reconnect in a safe and beautiful setting.
